Weekend outing with Grandpa John
Our first weekend outing to the Boston Commons was a bit adventurous. First, we realized that the T line stations did not have elevators to accommodate strollers - so we managed to clumsily carry Eli up the escalator without dropping him. And then, our visit to the Park Street Church was complicated by two steep and narrow staircases to lug up the stroller. After all the huffing and puffing, we rested by the park lake and watched the ducks nearby.
Fourth of July, Greensburg, 2008
Despite a late start, we managed to catch the tail end of this charming small town parade in Greensburg, IN. Elijah was as sweet and sleepy as ever. He didn't mind the small rain shower or the surrounding noise. We will likely miss his peaceful naps in the future!
